A masterful duo of colour and copy define Campbell Hay’s considered identity for Basha-Franklin
When architecture and interior design studio Basha-Franklin felt their previous identity and website no longer captured the vibrant essence of their work, they turned to fellow Londoners, the experienced brand consultancy Campbell Hay, for a refresh. The collaboration was fuelled by a shared love for their crafts, making the process seamless, enjoyable, and ultimately, rewarding. “We wanted to create an identity that we could tone up or down when needed,” explains Design Director Wai Ming Ng. “An identity that on one hand can be vibrant and present, but on the other hand can be stripped back and minimal when Basha-Franklin’s interior work needs to speak for itself.” This vision comes to life through a thoughtful pairing of concise copy and a bright, personable colour palette, providing the necessary flexibility for various touchpoints. Basha-Franklin is known for its warm and immersive interiors, where considered colour choices elevate experiences. Campbell Hay’s visual identity reflects this, ensuring that colours play an equally important role in evoking feelings. The palette features vibrant hues, deep darks and soft pastels, culminating in a cohesive selection that expresses the studio authentically.
