All smiles: YourStudio introduces The Modern Dentist as the clinic you’d actually want to go to

In an industry that’s often associated with cold, clinical environments and impersonal service, The Modern Dentist is setting a new standard, offering a unique blend of personalised service and cutting-edge techniques. With a brand identity that’s as vibrant and unique as the smiles it enhances, this dental practice is challenging norms and transforming perceptions about dentistry. Designed by experience design and strategy agency YourStudio, the identity encompasses a defined brand strategy, a unique visual and verbal identity, and the design of the dental practice’s physical space. All of the brand’s key elements – from the playful shapes and warm colour palette, to the confident typography and friendly tone of voice – are rooted in the company promise of ‘Dentistry done differently.’ One of the defining features of the identity is the dynamic shape system, inspired by the natural form of teeth. “Every great smile is unique and so are the teeth that create it,” says Senior Designer Tom Flint. Inspired by The Modern Dentist’s philosophy of emphasising natural beauty, YourStudio sought to highlight the unique nature of each individual’s smile and teeth, particularly in the logo and throughout the broader brand application. These soft-cornered shapes add a playful touch while also doubling up as graphic windows to hold photos and text.
