Atelier Dyakova merges strength and fluidity in its identity for designer Niccolò Pasqualetti
Building on his experiences at prestigious houses like Loewe and The Row, Niccolò Pasqualetti, a finalist for the 2024 LVMH Prize for Young Fashion Designers, is a name to watch if you’re drawn to quiet luxury and androgynous designs that blend innovation with an ethereal sensibility. Commissioned by Pasqualetti to craft the visual language, Atelier Dyakova developed the label’s branding, website, and packaging, with a design approach that centres on the interplay between structure and flow, clarity and ambiguity, reflecting the contrasts that run through Pasqualetti’s own practice. “His work often balances the precise with the ephemeral, the grounded with the fluid, and we wanted the branding to reflect that same delicate interplay,” Founder Sonya Dyakova tells us. Acknowledging the conceptual depth of Pasqualetti’s practice, the London-based design agency introduces a look that, at first glance, appears quiet and grounded, yet is supported by a vast range of references, from the raw authenticity of the Arte Povera art movement to the visual language of classification.
