Visual Electric is the image generator designers didn’t know they needed

To work with AI or not to work with AI? This question could very well be the hottest one at this point in time. However, it’s safe to say that for those who are dipping their toes in the proverbial water of generative tools, it’s an exciting time to be a designer. Visual Electric, the first image generator built specifically for designers, gets that. The tool, as Dunn says, is “purpose-built for the designer’s workflow. Our model has best-in-class prompt adherence for the greatest level of creative control. It produces exceptionally photorealistic images that can be used in production.” At every step, the Visual Electric team works on deconstructing or entirely removing points of friction within the creative process. Case in point – a library of over 50 hand-made styles, such as ‘Realistic Renders’ or ‘Linocut,’ that takes the pain out of prompt writing. “When prompting, you can choose from one of our styles or make your own,” explains Dunn. “The library makes it easy to generate beautiful images without being a prompt engineer.” Other pointed features further refine the process. Take, for example, the infinite canvas that “will feel familiar to anyone who has worked with modern design tools,” or the ‘Remix’ functionality. “Every image generated in Visual Electric can be the starting point for something new. You can browse our inspiration gallery and find something you like; then add it to a canvas and remix it by editing the prompt and the settings that were used to create your reference image,” Dunn adds.
