Cazador approached Seachange to refresh their identity to better reflect the quirks of their restaurant

Cazador is a family-run restaurant in Auckland, New Zealand specialising in wild game meats such as venison, hare and offal. Since opening in 1987, the restaurant has achieved cult status in the area due to its award-winning food, taxidermy displays, framed family photographs, olive green benches and dark wooden tables. After 32 years, Cazador approached local studio Seachange to refresh their identity to better reflect the quirks of the restaurant and menu. The new, bespoke logotype is laced with eccentric characteristics such as knife-like chisels and antler-referencing serifs that reflect the one-of-a-kind vibe of the restaurant. As a nod to the past, the arrow from the previous logo is used as a supporting asset with the added line ‘1987 to today’. Cazador
