Fedrigoni 365’s 2022 edition tangibly celebrates the creative industry’s collaborative spirit

Following on from the previous edition’s theme of collaboration and inclusion, 2022’s Fedrigoni 365 continues to expand the ongoing project’s ever-increasing roster of cross-disciplinary creativity; seeking to embody a variety of voices whilst also physically acting as a design toolkit for fresh-faced practitioners. Showcasing a unique concoction of print finishes and bindings, as well as a comprehensive collection of high-end, FSC-certified paper stocks. The book’s collaborative theme doesn’t stop at its contents, however, but bleeds through into its print run – which saw London-based design studio TM combine with a collection of different printers for the separate elements of the book – resulting in an eclectic and experiential construction. Made up of four individual volumes, bound with different techniques in separate stocks from Fegrigoni’s Materica range, the 2022 edition is housed in a single slipcase containing a consistent first three volumes, and a special fourth volume that is chosen at random from a split-cover alternate print run. Together, these multiple volumes house not only over 500 individual practitioners – running from designers and illustrators to photographers and educators – but collectively, and tangibly, represent the optimism of the creative industry, and the variety of talent it contains.
