Flash, Filters & Focal Points: 5 fantastic photographers from our featured graphic design projects
In the thousands of graphic design projects we’ve featured on The Brand Identity over the years, there is almost always one thing that ties them all together: beautiful photography. Behind every close-up of a logomark’s glistening foil, or the careful capturing of a flat-lay is an expert photographer, bringing out the very best of the brand. The photographers we’ve highlighted in our list here go beyond the tried and tested, instead, producing imagery that feels at one with the project it’s a part of; bringing complimentary colour, composition and character to already brilliant creations. Oslo-based creative polymath Pernille Münster devotes her talents mainly to the interior design and lifestyle industries, working across photography, interior styling, writing and content creation. With her natural eye for aesthetics, her thoughtful visuals – across all of her creative expressions – capture the spirit of the times. Among her work for clients and publications, such as LK Hjelle, Tonning & Stryn and OBOS-Bladet, this is evidenced in her work for the Norwegian convenience store Innom. Commissioned by fellow Oslo-based agency TRY Design, Münster provided commercial photography to promote Innom’s vibrant and playful identity. Channelling the joyful nature of TRY’s designs for the kiosk-bakery-grocery hybrid, her images depict the snapshots of day-to-day life that Innom caters for. Whether on the go, picking up breakfast pastries, or enjoying a picnic, Münster captures these moments in bright, appetising colour. Pernille Münster
