The Edit: five new projects including DMEXCO by Navarra.is

Each and every day, we're lucky to discover dozens of interesting and inspiring projects from around the world. From global identities and campaigns to side projects and independently published books, The Edit is home to five of them; every two weeks. DMEXCO is one of the largest digital marketing events in Europe, playing host to over 40,000 visitors every year. Berlin-based agency Navarra.is was commissioned to develop a clear and transparent identity for the event that would function for years to come. The new visual language is all about duality, fluidity and semiotic clarity. The two parts of DMEXCO are represented by a dual shape system: a blue square for the expo and a red circle for the conference. This provides two levels of identification that are basic and understandable yet distinct and recognisable. Stance is a Glasgow and London-based design company purposed for the next generation of challenges. By combining behavioural science with strategic design and technology, they uncover human insight to create brands, products and experiences that create broader value and improve people’s lives. The concept of their visual identity is change. It’s designed to hint at how they operate and approach challenges. The condensed logotype was designed by Caterina Bianchini Studio, with the rest of the vibrant, kinetic system created by Stance’s Lead Designer Kirsty Geddes.
