The Edit: five new projects including Thomas Haas Blak by Pendo
Each and every day, we're lucky to discover dozens of interesting and inspiring projects from around the world. From global identities and campaigns to side projects and independently published books, The Edit is home to five of them; every two weeks. Thomas Haas Blak is a line of pure dark chocolate products created in response to today’s oversaturation of gimmicky ‘infused’ chocolates in the market. Simple ingredients and bold flavours are expressed throughout several products including bars, truffles and cakes. Vancouver-based agency Pendo worked with Thomas Blak to create a visual identity and packaging system that matches the no-fuss simplicity of the products. Their solution revolves around Swiss Typefaces’ sans serif Euclid and gold foil applied to black soft-touch paper stock. Honest Department is an online department store specialising in ethical and sustainable women’s apparel and accessories. They cater to a generation that is conscious of the process and thought behind what they’re buying. They worked with designer Vencho Miloshevski on their identity, print materials and e-commerce platform.
