Both's identity for photographer Shelley Horan is all about contrast

Photographer Shelley Horan invited Melbourne-based studio Both to create her new identity after years of working closely together on various projects. The resulting solution is inspired by Shelley’s love of all things unusual and slightly awkward. This is brought to life through a series of contrasting elements – unorthodox colour combinations and juxtaposing sizes and weights of typography – all brought together through consistent placement across deliverables. The identity avoids the cliché pristine white backgrounds often found surrounding photographers work, opting instead for bold uses of colour through shiny foils and paper stocks. Both
