SSSISTER on perfecting the sport of passing the baton with its ‘relay race’ approach as a collective
In a quadruplet tour de force, SSSISTER seeks to subvert the established traditions of the studio work processes and client relationships. This innovative ‘post-agency’ collective brings together four specialist studios – Holiday, Handover, End-to-End and Human NYC – under one umbrella, offering a comprehensive approach to brand creation, content production, e-commerce design and development. As they navigate their early days, we caught up with key figures from SSSISTER, Marek Czyz from End-to-End, and Alex Bones and Stuart Hall from Holiday. Here, they unpack their origins, methodology and vision for the future of creative services – from their decentralised structure to their commitment to radical transparency. PT: Can you tell us about the origins of SSSISTER and what sparked the idea for this unique studio model? MC: We wanted to be close to our client’s businesses, from product ideation to getting a brand to the market and scaling it. To a degree, this model mirrors a brand’s lifecycle and allows us to be flexible across time, cost and resources. On the creative side, greed was a factor too. Now we control projects from strategy development all the way through to launching all the touchpoints.
