To craft a brand strategy that could not only hold its own against industry giants but also communicate Ecommpay’s unique strengths, Netherlands-based agency Verve took a deep dive into the world of finance – engaging with people from all layers in the company. “We wanted to understand and align Ecommpay’s product vision with the pain points of the market, ultimately giving us clarity on the best product and brand positioning for Ecommpay,” Co-founder & Executive Creative Director Rindor Golverdingen tells us. As a result, Verve helped Ecommpay transition from high-risk to low-risk business segments, emphasising its open architecture, inclusive payments, flexibility and dependability. The result is a versatile modular system that mirrors the adaptability of the platform’s services, where Ecommpay’s innovative technology makes payments super fast, seamless and smooth to use. “The biggest challenge, yet inspiration,” Golverdingen explains, “was the desire to visually explain the complex technology behind what they have to offer, without becoming very technical or complex. To be able to do just that, we looked at modular systems, credit cards, microchips and motherboards, but also the seamless motion in which stacks of cards move.”
