The Designers Foundry is a hand-picked international team of type designers. We caught up with Founder, Daniel McQueen. EM: What was the reason behind the name change from Ten Dollar Fonts to The Designers Foundry? DM: It wasn’t a decision we took lightly, I could speak on this at some length, but the short answer is that we had outgrown the name ‘Ten Dollar Fonts’. It was simply too limiting for our future ambitions and font releases.
