Walk A Thought’s ink-led work captures Studio Constance’s debut show
Walk A Thought and Studio Constance have been refining a visual language together since 2019. When the Scandinavian fashion label was selected for its debut runway show at Stockholm Fashion Week 2025, Founder Rebecca Dovenryd Almberg invited the Paris-based design studio to create the campaign and show identity for the SS26 collection. The campaign identity centres on the idea of flow. Studio Constance’s garments often explore the tension between structure and softness, with silhouettes that shift as they move on the body. Rather than create something overly polished, Walk A Thought’s Co-Founders Erik Berger Vaage and Rasmus Nilsson aimed for an identity that felt equally alive. “The starting point was both in the literal sense of the garments’ movement and in how Studio Constance approached the collection,” they explain. Ink illustrations became the primary visual element, developed to capture the collection’s tactility without simply replicating the garments themselves. Nilsson created each illustration by hand, letting the medium’s natural behaviour inform the final forms. “We wanted a visual language that could capture the tactility of the collection without simply replicating the garments. Ink was a natural medium for that; it has a kind of controlled unpredictability that mirrors how the clothes drape and move,” the designers note. The gestures echo the collection’s silhouettes, with intentional imperfections – where ink pools or fades – becoming part of the visual rhythm.
