Where two points meet: an intersecting ‘N’ leads Justified Studio’s look for crypto-insurers Native
Native, a pioneering global brokerage, is pushing the boundaries of emerging tech and the insurance landscape for digital assets. With only 1% of crypto assets currently insured, they bridge the gap between traditional insurance and the rapidly evolving world of cryptocurrency. Their identity, conceptualised and designed by London-based practice Justified Studio, communicates their innovative approach and positions them as leaders in this emerging space, without leaning into the expected visual tropes of either the insurance industry or the crypto world. “We wanted to celebrate Native’s unique positioning at the intersection of these two worlds, creating something fresh and distinctive for both spaces,” says Designer Scarlett Chetwin. “We also wanted the brand to communicate the idea of pushing boundaries, as well as opening up space for innovation and discovery, so this was also key to our thinking.” These central ideas are all embodied in the new brand icon – an ‘N’ created from two intersecting points. Not simply a static form, it doubles up as a handy visual tool that shifts and morphs, expanding and contracting across various digital and printed applications. This, according to Designer David Hosler, speaks to the brand’s bold and unique approach to insurance, while also “opening up space for innovation, experimentation and risk-taking, all housed under the safety of Native.”
