“Matenits” – an ethnic elixir packaging – stands as a tribute to the captivating artistry of Cilician Armenian miniatures, renowned for their lavish use of gold. The royal balm-drink, traditionally crafted alongside an appropriate prayer routine, served as the inspiration for our design, which draws heavily from the intricate altar illustrations found within the sacred Gospels. These revered artworks, admired for their artistry, guided the creation of the Matenits packaging, reflecting the richness and complexity of ancient manuscript covers.
