The Edit: five projects including The National Partners Programme by Narrate
Each and every day, we're lucky to discover dozens of interesting and inspiring projects from around the world. From global identities and campaigns to side projects and independently published books, The Edit is home to five of them; every two weeks. The National Partners Programme is a UK-wide network of galleries and museums that present art exhibitions drawn from the Arts Council Collection. London-based studio Narrate partnered with graphic designer Kelly Barrow to create the visual identity for the Programme. Inspired by the concept of ‘a gallery without walls’, they designed a graphic system that allows images and typography to move freely within a structured grid. Colophon Foundry’s Basis Grotesque Mono is used for the rational, structured content alongside the more traditional Akzidenz Grotesk. OneFourFive Clarendon is a modern workspace for future-focused businesses in Melbourne, Australia. The commercial project aims to attract like-minded progressive people, with a conscious focus on connectivity and local activity. Studio Brave’s branding for the workspace revolves around the narrative ‘A Life Unlimited’, which embraces the contemporary model of the professional-lifestyle balance. Visually, the identity takes inspiration from the building’s distinctive industrial forms.
