Stoëmp Studio looks for longevity in its geometric identity system for architecture firm A2M
While many architecture studios blur together in a sea of “Helvetica logos, glossy renders, and vague mission statements,” the look of A2M – an international architecture firm specialising in regenerative design – strives to break the status quo. In its updated look for the firm, Stoëmp Studio captures the “rigour of their practice and the boldness of their vision,” says Strategy Director Thomas De Vylder. “They’re not just another firm; they’re pioneers,” he tells us, pointing out that A2M has been at the forefront of sustainable architecture for over 25 years. “Their visual identity needed to reflect that.” From the identity to every touchpoint of their communication system, Stoëmp Studio redesigned everything – including tone of voice, business cards, project presentations, internal templates, proposal decks, and their website and digital presence. In its signature ‘mindful minimalist’ approach, rather than stripping away elements to be trendy, Stoëmp Studio focused on discovering the brand’s identity through subtraction – editing with intention and removing the noise to allow the truth to emerge. “For A2M,” Creative Director Wojtek Szlachta tells us, “that meant creating a brand that travels light, but lands with impact.”
